Animation Journey

  • I started to animate small projects and animation memes in 2017.

  • When I was younger, I thought it would be easy to animate since I knew how to draw (I was completely wrong). It was then I realized the full process of how animation works and why it's always a team that works together.

  • Despite this I still was happy making animations and I gained more respect for animators and artist than I already had.

  • I did stop for a period of time from 2020-2022 because I became busy with school, and it was getting harder to use my old editing tool and I wasn't able to find good ones that were free to use on pc.

  • I eventually came across CapCut in early 2023 seeing how popular it was and that it was free, so I decided to try it.

  • I don't regret using VideoPad Editor because it did teach me the basic of video editing and I was able to put it to use.

  • I've been teaching myself how to animate, the principles of animation, watching editing editors, and other creators for inspiration.

  • I plan to make on making a reel with the old storyboards and rough animation for the ones that I had saved.

Experience

  • Wacom Intuos Tablet 2018 and Wacom One.

  • Fire Alpaca -- Main Animation tool since 2018.

  • Clip Studio Paint Pro -- Frames for Tweening sometimes backgrounds, rendering, since 2023.

  • VideoPad Video Editor, old video editor from 2019 -2021.

  • CapCut as main video editor since 2023.

  • Alight Motion for special effects or backgrounds since 2024.

  • I'm open to trying out other editing software, I'm currently learning Davinci Resolve.
